B.Sc. (Hons.) Geology is an undergraduate Geology course which generally covers the study of the solid and liquid matter that constitutes the Earth. Scope for government job after BSc(Hons) Geology course -B.Sc. (Hons.) (Geology) degree holders have plenty of opportunities in some of its specialized fields -Other bright area for candidates are The Union Public Service Commission which conducts tests for placements in Central Government Agencies like the Geological Survey of India and the Central Ground water Board. -One can get good jobs in the Central Ground Water Board and the Geological Survey of India, Coal India, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, Mineral Exploration Authority, Hindustan Zinc.
