The BBA in Retailing (BBA (Retailing)) programme offered by offered by School of Management Studies (SOMS) in Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is offered once in the month of July every year. There’s 3 month-internship in the 1st year and on-the-job training in the 2nd and 3rd years. Course Details Duration: 3 Years to 6 Years Course Fee: Rs. 27,000 Age: 18 Years to 24 Years Eligibility: Category A – Direct entry • 10+2 or equivalent based on merit of physically fit candidates. • It provides reservation of seats as per Government of India rules. • There will be a personal interview of the candidate at the regional center prior to selection. The Regional Director, in consultation with the Programme Coordinator conducts the interview. • One is selected on the basis of personal interview, during which a candidate is judged on the following: • Appearance, Ability to communicate, Attitude, Mental alertness, General awareness Each of these carry maximum of 10 marks. One is required to secure at least 25 out of 50 to qualify. Category B – Sponsored Admission The sponsor is allowed to nominate employees, who have passed 10+2/equivalent, from their retail organization. The sponsor need to submit a letter on the company’s letterhead issued by a competent authority along with an individual application form of the candidate nominated with the programme fee Candidates need to deposit fees only after selection.
