CDS Examination Online Form

Sir I want to apply for the Combined Defense Service Examination through online so please can you give me the date of online form and also provide me the procedure of online form and tell me the last date of online form?

The CDS (civil Defence Academy) exam I 2012 applications issues from 29.10.2011 to 28.11.2011 and the exam was completed on 12.02.2012.

The CDS Exam II 2012 application issues from 02.06.2012 to 02.07.2012 which the CDS Examination will be held on 16th September, 2012.


Last date of apply for UPSC CDS exam 2012 is gone in month of November 2011 but you can apply for next year.

UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination II:

Total Number of Vacancies: 509

Names of Courses:
1. Indian Military Academy: 250 posts
2. Indian Naval Academy: 40 posts
3. Air Force Academy: 32 posts
4. Officers Training Academy (Men): 175 posts
5. Officers Training Academy (Women): 12 posts

Age Limit
Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02-07-1990 and not later than 01-07-1995

Educational Qualification
You should have passed 10+2+ Degree from recognized University with good academic records.

Application Fee
General and OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 200/- towards application fee and SC/ ST/ Female

Selection Process
You will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test and Interview/ Personality Test.

Application form
You may apply through online mode, for which they need to log on to UPSC website
You must be submitted online on or before 24-06-2013.

Important Dates:
Starting Date for Online Registration: 25-05-2013

Last Date for Online Application: 24-06-2013

Date of Examination: 08-09-2013
