Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination. GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee)

Pattern:

Pattern of Question Papers - Engineering Mathematics section will carry 15% of the total marks, General Aptitude section will carry 15% of the total marks and the remaining 70% of the total marks is devoted to the core subjects of the stream.
