Haryana Pre Medical Test (PMT) is an entrance test for admission to bachelor’s degree medical and dental courses MBBS/BDS/BAMS in the medical and dental institutes of Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. The Maharishi Dayanand University is one of the oldest institutes in India established in the year 1956. Eligibility: A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCB (40% for SC/ST/OBC). Important dates (tentative): Date of Entrance Examination: July 1st week, 2011 Availability of Application Forms: May End-June 2nd week, 2011 Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: June 3rd week, 2011 Application forms: Application forms will be available on the University Office and also in the official website so the candidate must download the application forms from their. Fill the application and send with entire documents and with DD in the favor of the university. Medium of Exam: The medium of Entrance Examination will be English. The question-paper will be set in English. Paper Pattern: The test will be of 3 hours duration consisting of a total of 180 questions. There will be 45 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. For every correct answer a candidate will get 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. Application forms can be obtained by sending a request along with a demand draft of Rs. 1050/- drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, MDU Rothak payable at State Bank of India, MDU, Rothak Branch. The Haryana Premedical Entrance Test will be of 3 hours duration and will carry maximum marks of 720 consisting of objective type questions from physics, chemistry, zoology and botany. Each correct answer would add 4 marks and a wrong answer would deduct 1 mark. And the exam is having 180 questions. |

The Haryana Pre-Medical Test is conducted by the Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak for giving admission to UG courses in Medical and Dental courses. In the HPMT exam only the candidates can take part that is the state of Haryana. Eligibility for Haryana PMT: -- The applicant that reside in Haryana -- The age of the candidate should in between 17 to 25 years. -- The applicants should have passed the higher secondary program in science streams with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination. -- The candidates should pass in Sanskrit as a language in higher secondary for the BAMS course. Application Procedure: The interested candidate can participate in the Haryana PMT exam from 2ways. -- Online Mode -- Offline mode Offline Mode: The candidates can sale the admission form from the university office of Rs 1200 (Rs 300 for SC/BC candidates of Haryana only) in cash. The candidates should send in the completely filled application forms with correct required information at the University. The candidates can also send the form by post by sending a request letter along with DD of Rs 1250. Online mode: The candidates go on to the official website of Maharshi Dayanand University, then download the application form, then filled application forms with correct required information, & send to the University.
