MCA is a post graduation course in computer application of three year duration .But B.E Computer Science is a undergraduate course in computer science of four year duration ..

Through MCA course you will get theoretical knowledge in both hardware and software. You will get many better job scopes after passing MCA course with good marks ..

B.E Computer Science provides you education for hardware and software aspects of both computer design and computer applications .. this course is deals with design, construction, operation, and maintenance of computing hardware and software.
You will get more career opportunities in BE computer science than MCA course ..

MCA is postgraduate Information Technology course while B.E Computer Science course is a bachelor degree course. The duration of MCA course is 2 years while the duration of B.E Computer Science course is 4 years.

Master of Computer Applications is a computer science degree whose curriculum is primarily based on the development of application software in diverse areas.

B.E Computer Science deals with the field of science or technology and covers one of the main subjects Computer Science and Engineering.

M.C.A. Eligibility

Graduation in any discipline (Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering or any approved University)

Candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 course or any one year of graduation.

B.C.A. qualified candidates can also pursue M.C.A.

B.Tech. Computer Science Eligibility

10+2 or its equivalent exam with minimum of 60% marks in Class 10 and 10+2 with PCM (For CSE, ICT & ECE) and PCB/PCM/ PCMB (For BT) from any board in India or its equivalent from any other country

For CSE, ICT & ECE: on the basis of merit obtained in JEE/SAT scores
