PARA COMMADOS is the Elite force of INDIAN ARMY.. to become a Para commando in Indian air force you have to join INDIAN ARMY as a Soldier or as a Officer. To join Indian army you have to pass competitive examination of Indian army…After Joining INDIAN ARMY you have to voluntarily opt for the course of Para Commando. During their probation period, you have to undergo 6 months training in the Special Forces regiments and 3 months training for normal parachute regiments. There will be physical, mental and psychological tests carried out as part of the training. After successfully completing training program can become Parachute Commandos within the Army.

Para Commados is the Elite force of INDIAN ARMY like the GARUD OF INDIAN AIR FORCE and MARCOS of INDIAN NAVY. There is no direct entry in INDIAN SPECIAL FORCES like para . First you have to join army at any rank . Then you have to apply for PARA and then selection process will start . 10+2 Commerce students may join the NDA only for Indian Army selection. They can’t become a Commissioned Officer in IAF or Indian Navy right after 12th. But they may become Indian Army Officer right after 12th, through NDA Entry To join Indian Army as an Officer, Commerce stream students have two ways- After 12th (NDA Entry) After Graduation (CDSE, NCC, JAG Entry etc, whichever applies) About NDA Exam: UPSC NDA entrance exam is a gateway for the aspirants who want to make their career in Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. This national level test is held twice (NDA I and NDA II) every year in the months of April and November Educational Qualification: For Air Force and Naval Wings (Cadet Entry Scheme): Applying candidates must have passed their 10th and 12th level exams from a recognized board or university with the main subjects of Physics and Mathematics. For Army Wing of National Defense Academy: Candidates must have passed their 10th and 12th level exams from a recognized board or university.
