Indian Engineering Services (IES) are the civil services that meet the technical and managerial functions of the Government of India.

IES Officers are selected by the union government on the recommendations of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). UPSC conduct four-stage competitive examination called the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) for recruitment to the Indian Engineering Services.
