CSIR UGC NET June

When the application form for CSIR UGC NET for June 2012 will come out and pls let me know what is the eligibility for applying for the exam? I am a central government employee do I need the permission from my department before filling up this exam.

CSIR will conduct the UGC NET test on December 18th 2011 for offering the fellowship of 2012.

ELIGIBILITY
Education Qualification
You have to passed BS 4 Years program/BE/B.Tech/B.Pharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/M.Sc and you must obtained minimum 55% marks for general and OBC (50% for SC/ST candidates, physically and visually Handicapped candidates) from any well recognized university

AGE LIMIT
For JRF (NET): Minimum 19 Years and maximum 28 years
For LS (NET) No upper age limit.

Exam fee :
General Rs. 400/-;
Other Backward Classes (OBC) Rs. 200/-;
SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PH) or Visually Handicapped (VH) Rs. 100/-

I have done B.TECH in computer engineering, am I eligible for UGC NET exam?

Dear Sir,

My son is in his 5th Semester of BTech in Biotechnology. He wants to pursue his research. Can he write UGC Net Exam in 2016 ? He will be completing his graduation in 2017 only.
If yes, how many years is the score valid? Kindlly reply .
