Recently I have done B.Tech and here I am take admission in Utkal University Bhubaneswar for doing M.Tech so tell me how to take admission here and tell me here about M.Tech syllabus ,duration and fees and I want to know about University facilities and placements?

Utkal University is the oldest university in Odisha and the 17th oldest university in India located at the heart of the capital city Bhubaneswar

M. Tech. in Computer Science

Year of Establishment: 1999

a) Venue: School of Math - Stat. & Computer Science (Department of Mathematics)

b) Duration: Two Years (Four Semesters)

c) Number of Seats: 30 (Thirty)

d) Eligibility: Aspirants must have the M.C.A. / M. Sc. Computer Science/ M.A, or M. Sc, in Mathematics /Statistics, M. Sc. / MBA with Mathematics at Bachelor's Degree./ BE./ B. Tech./AMIE in any engineering discipline with 55% marks,

e) Selection Procedure: Entrance test. (100%)

f) Course fee: Rs.45, 000/- in 1st, year. Rs.25,000/- in 2nd year.

The M. Tech (IT) program was launched in the year 2010 in the P.G. Department of Statistics under the brand name of ACENTRE FOR IT EDUCATION with an aim to provide an excellent opportunity to undertake advanced study in Information Technology

Eligibility for Admission:

(i) Master Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Computer Applications/Statistics/Mathematics/Physics/Electronic Sciences or any other qualification considered equivalent.

(ii) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or any other qualification considered equivalent (such as AMIE or DOEACC Level).

Admission Reservation
As per the Government of Odisha Notification and university guidelines:

22.5% of seats shall be reserved for Scheduled Tribe students.
16.25% of seats shall be reserved for Scheduled Caste students.

Admission Process

Admission to M.Tech courses is done on the basis of Entrance examination conducted by the respective departments of the university. However, admission to MBA/MCA & M.Pharm. is done on the basis of OJEE.
