IIMC offers PGD in Journalism in English, Odia and Hindi.

The IIMC centres offering PGD in Journalism in English are given below:

Objectives of the Course

To offer a wider perspective on communication in India.

To highlight the role of journalists in promoting contribution and participation through effective communication.

To bring into the light and equip them with a range of communication skills.

To develop proper communication strategy in main concern areas for the country.

To describe opportunities for journalists/ communicators in view of up-and-coming technologies.

To give coverage to new/evolving techniques of reporting/editing/production/ circulation.

To bring out the role of government media organisations and of private initiatives.
