UPSC conducts the Indian Engineering Services (IES) exam. This year the last date for applying for this exam was 9 April 2012. So you have to try next year. Still for youe knowledge here I’m giving you the related information: Age Limit: Maximum Age 30 years as on 1 Aug 2012 Application Fees: Rs. 100/- Educational Qualifications: Candidate has a degree in Engineering or equivalent. Those Candidates, who will qualify on written exam, will be summoned for personality test.

Indian Engineering Services (IES) are the civil services that meet the technical and managerial functions of the Government of India. IES officers are selected by the union government on the recommendations made by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The recruitments were done under four specializations: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Telecom Engineering. A total of 702 candidates have been recommended for recruitment by UPSC. IES 2014 Exam Important Dates Schedule and Notifications Start Date for IES-ESE 2014 Registration: 15th March 2014 Last Date for IES-ESE Registration 2014: 14th April 2014 Date of ES IES-ESE 2014 Exam: 20th June 2014( 3 Days exam) IES Exam Pattern: The IES 2014 Examination is conducted in two stages Written Test and Interview.
