University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) for post of lectureship and award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) ..

UGC NET June exam dates :
Last date for Applying Online 05.05.2014
Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan, at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). 07.05.2014
Last date of taking printout of Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admit Card from UGC website 10.05.2014
National Eligibility Test (NET) is held on 29th June 2014 (SUNDAY)

Important tentative dates for UGC December exam :
Issue of application form :: October 2014
Last date for Applying Online November 2014
Exam date :: December 2014

The UGC NET details are as given below:
Eligibility:
You have to secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities recognized by UGC in Humanities and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc.

Age limit:
There is no upper age limit for NET exam ..
Junior Research Fellowship
Not more than 28 years as on 01.12.2014. (A relaxation upto 5 years to SC/ST/ PWD/OBC)

EXAMINATION FEE
General Candidates Rs.450/-
Other Backward Classes Rs.225/-
SC/ST/PWD candidates Rs.110/-

UGC, the Central Board of Secondary Education conduct National Eligibility Test on 28th Dec 2014 for determining the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges.

The exam will be conduct in 79 subjects .

As the last date to apply is over , better luck next time .

Important Dates :
Starting date of CBSE NET Application form was -15th October 2014

Last Date to Apply for CBSE NET exam December 2014 was -15th November 2014.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have obtained at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc.

Applicants are advised to appear in the subject of their post-graduation only.

The OBC belonging to non-creamy layer / SC / ST / PWD category applicants who have secured at least 50% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.

Applicants appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited are eligible to apply .

Applicants belonging to OBC (Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PWD category are required to submit attested copy of the category Certificate .
