What is the Lower age limit required to apply for Assistant Chemist Trainee (ACT) post??

NTPC - National Thermal Power Corporation has announced online application form for various posts in Assistant Chemist Trainees (ACT)

Education Qualification:-
Must have passed in M.Sc in chemistry with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.

Age Limit--
Age of candidates should have between 18 years to 27 years as on 10-02-2014.

Important Dates:-
Starting date of Online Registration: 20-01-2014
Last date for Online registration: 10-02-2014
Downloading of Admit Card: 01-04-2014 to 13-04-2014
Date of Online Test: 13-04-2014

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:
For General candidates
21 Years to 30 Years

For OBC candidates
21 Years to 33 Years,

For SC / ST candidates
21 Years to 35 Years

This age limit criteria for these PSUs:

NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation)
BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.)
IOCL (Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.)
HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd.)
ONGC (Oil & Natural Gas Corporation)
SAIL (Steel Authority of India Ltd.)
BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.)
MECON (Metallurgical & Engineering Consultant)
FCI (Food Corporation of India Ltd.)
NALCO (National Aluminimum Company)

Applicants can join NTPC through GATE.

Position in NTPC:
Executive Trainees in Mechanical
Electrical
Electronics
Instrumentation Engineering

Selection process:
Selection is depend on the basis of GATE scores followed by group discussions and a personal interview.

Educational Qualification:
Aspirants must have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with minimum of 65% marks in aggregate.

Final year students are also eligible with minimum 65% in their engineering.

Aspirants must have qualified in GATE.

Important dates:
Submission of online GATE 2015 application: September – Mid of October, 2015

Start of online application module : December, 2015
Last date for applying to NTPC: January, 2016
