Candidates must have M.SC Degree /Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years/BE/B.Tech/B.Pharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for general and OBC-Non Creamy layer candidates

For General - Rs.1000/-;
For Other Backward Classes (OBC) –
For Non Creamy Layer - Rs.500/-;
For SC/ST/Physically Handicapped (PH) or Visually Handicapped (VH) - Rs.250/-

The CSIR UGC NET pattern for the Single Paper MCQ test

The MCQ test paper of each subject shall carry a maximum of 200 marks.

The exam shall be for duration of three hours.
