I am looking to take admissions to the Phd course of the IIT Jaipur can you please help me in that?

IIT Jodhpur is going to held the admission process for this year admissions to the program of the Phd.

Application Procedure to get admission to the program –

Applicants interested in the program are need to apply online to the progam of the institute.

for admission to the 2014-15 First Semester of the institute that is going to commence in July 2014, the online link of the institute will remain active till 4th April 2014.

Applicants for this program need to send online generated summary sheet of the exam also a copy of GATE, NET, CSIR, UGC or NBHM score card (copy of GATE-ADMIT Card or equivalent, if the result is awaited) and the processing fee of Rs.300 for General and OBC applicants and Rs.150 for SC, ST, and PD applicants in the form of a demand draft that is to be drawn from a nationalized bank in favour of "Director, IIT Jodhpur" payable at Jodhpur.

Eligibility for Admission at the IIT Jodhpur.


(a) PhD Program in an Engineering discipline

1. Applicants with a Master's degree in Engineering namely M.Tech, M. E., M. Sc. (Engineering) or MS by Research with at least 60% marks or at least 6.5/10 Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) can apply t6o ther program at the institute. Such students are required to have at least 60% marks or 6.5/10 CPI or CGPA in Bachelor's degree.

2. Applicants with a Master's degree in Sciences and with at least 70% marks or at least 7.0/10 CPI or CGPA with a valid GATE, CSIR, UGC or NBHM score card. Such students are required to have 70% marks or 7.0/10 CPI or CGPA in Bachelor's degree program in the relevant field.

3. Applicants with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with

(i) a B.Tech, B.E. or B.Sc. (Engineering) degree with at least 80% marks or at least 8/10 CPI or CGPA and a valid GATE score can apply to the program of the institute, and

(ii) a B.Tech. degree from any of the IITs with at least 8/10 CPI or CGPA with a valid GATE Score Card.

(b) PhD Program in Science discipline

1. Master's degree in Sciences with at least 60% marks or at least 6.5/10 CPI or CGPA with a valid GATE, CSIR, UGC score card or equivalent. Such students are required to have at least 60% marks or 6.5/10 CPI or CGPA in Bachelor's degree can apply to the program.

Also the Applicants holding Master's degree in Engineering also are eligible to apply for PhD Programme in Sciences with at least 70% marks or 7/10 CPI or CGPA. Again, such applicants are required to have at least 70% marks or 7/10 CPI or CGPA in both the Bachelor's and Master's degree to get admission to the program.

2. Applicants holding only Bachelor's degree in Engineering with

(i) a B.Tech, B.E. or B.Sc.(Engineering) degree with at least 80% marks or 8/10 CPI or CGPA and a valid GATE score card

(ii) a B.Tech. degree from any of the IITs with at least 8/10 CPI or CGPA or a valid GATE score card.

(c) PhD Program in Humanities and Social Science Discipline

1. Master's degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, Sciences, Engineering or allied areas with at least 55% marks or 6.0/10 CPI or CGPA with a valid GATE, UGC or CSIR score are able to apply to get admission to the program.

2. Applicants holding only Bachelor's degree in Engineering with

(i) a B.Tech, B.E. or B.Sc.(Engineering) degree with at least 80% marks or 8/10 CPI or CGPA and a valid GATE score card

(ii) a B.Tech. degree from any of the IITs with at least 8/10 CPI or CGPA or a valid GATE score card.
