VLSI Design and Research Center, at the Department of Electronic Science, Pune University provides this course.

The university provides the following courses to the students –

1. Diploma in Advanced Digital System Design (1 YEAR, FULL TIME)

2. Certificate Course in Embedded Systems Design (6 MONTHS)

3. Certificate Course in VLSI Design (6 MONTHS)

Eligibility to get admission to the courses at the university:

Candidate must have the B.E./B.Tech (Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical, Instrumentation or Computers), or the M.Sc. (Electronics, Instrumentation, Computers or Physics with Spl. Electronics), M.C.S, MCA, MCM and Information Technology or equivalent from any recognised university of the country.

Course Structure at the university-

6 weeks (150 hours), Lectures 2 hrs/day, Practical 2 hrs/day.

Course Fee
Rs. 5,000.00 (the course fee will be reimbursed if the student takes admission to Pune University Certificate Course in VLSI Design). This fee is not refundable under any circumstances.

Basic CMOS VLSI Design Hierarchy

CPLD Architecture

Study of Bus Architecture
20 hrs

General Aptitude Practice
