I am looking to take admissions to the Hyderabad University HCU can you please help me in that?

HCU is Hyderabad central university that was set up by the central Govt of India to provide education to the students of the Andhra Pradesh state.

The university has the following schools under which the admissions are given at the university –

School of Mathematics and Statistics
School of Physics
School of Chemistry
School of Life Sciences
School of Humanities
School of Social Sciences
Sarojini Naidu School of Arts & Communication
School of Management Studies
School of Medical Sciences
School of Engineering Sciences & Technology
School of Economics
School of Computer and Information Sciences

To get admission to the university you need to give the entranced test of the university and following is the criteria to get admission to the university –

(a) First criteria: Marks obtained in Part - A of the question paper of the university.

(b) Second criteria: Division and marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree examination. If the final result is not available then the marks up to the 2nd year will be taken into account in order to provide the admissions.

(c) Third criteria: Division and marks obtained in the degree examination immediately preceding the qualifying degree examination by the students.

(d) Fourth criteria: Division and Marks obtained in the next lower public examination of the students.

How to Apply: Application form of the university has to be submitted online from 4th December, 2013 to 3rd January 2014.

Application Fees: Rs.350/- in the case of General and OBC candidates and Rs.150/- in the case of SC/ST/PWD(PH) candidates

As you can see from the above mentioned dates that the admission to the university is already over so you have to wait till next time to get admissions to the university.

Admissions at Hyderabad Central University

Admission at Hyderabad Central University is open to all but the selection procedure is strictly based on performance at the entrance exam.
To pursue any post graduate level course at Hyderabad Central University the candidate must possess a 3 year graduate level degree from any recognized university or autonomous college.
The candidate who has passed out a two-year degree course can also be considered during the admission process if one has done an additional one-year bridge course.
