PHD programs :
Annual Intake:
Upto Eight (General - 04; OBC - 02, SC - 01, ST - 01).

Essential Qualifications for admission to Ph.D Programme:
You have to pass a Masters Degree in any Engineering / Technology;
OR M.Phil. in Mathematics OR Statistics OR Electronics or B.E / B.Tech.

OR Masters Degree in Computer Applications / Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Information Systems/ Internet Technology/ Geoinformatics/ Bio-informatics with a minimum of 60% marks in the above stated qualifications. (a relaxation of 5% marks is provided to SC/ST candidates).

Fellowship:
IDRBT provides monthly fellowship of Rs. 14,000/- in the first & second year
Rs.15,000/- in the third year.
