copy with signature) by post at the GATE Office 15.04.2014 (Tuesday)
Suitability Test/ Interview for relevant candidates (Refer Table 3) 03.05.2014 (Saturday)
Date of reporting for admission 21.07.2014 (Monday)
Date for Spot Admission (only if there are any unfilled seats) 22.07.2014 (Tuesday)
Orientation Programme 23.07.2014 (Wednesday)
Photo session and Workflow enrolment 24.07.2014 (Thursday)
Commencement of Classes 30.07.2014 (Wednesday)

M tech eligibility :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture from educational
Institutions approved by AICTE/Government

(ii) Master’s degree in Chemistry/Life Sciences/Mathematics/Physics related
subjects from educational Institutions approved by UGC/ Government

(iii) Degrees obtained through Distance Education/Correspondence Mode for the
qualifying degree specified in [(i) or (ii)]. The Departments will follow test/interview
procedure for screening in such cases.

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras or IIT-M is an autonomous public engineering and research institution located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India

This year last date for applying for M.Tech program was 14 April 2015 so may be next year the closing date for applying for M.Tech is in the 2nd Week of April
