Part I.—Written examination
Part II.—Interview for personality Test carrying a maximum of 200 marks.

Category-I For the Post of Geologists
Geology Paper I 3 hrs 200
Geology Paper II 3 hrs 200
Geology Paper III 3 hrs 200

Category-II For the Post of Geophysicists
Geophysics Paper I 3 hrs 200
Geophysics Paper II 3 hrs 200
Geophysics Paper III 3 hrs 200

Category-III For the Post of Chemists
Chemistry Paper I 3 hrs 200
Chemistry Paper II 3 hrs 200
Chemistry Paper III 3 hrs 200

Category-IV For the Post of Junior Hydrogeologist
Geology Paper I 3 hrs 200
Geology Paper II 3 hrs 200
Hydrogeology 3 hrs 200

The Examination in all the subjects will be of conventional (Essay) type.
All Question papers must be answered in English.
