As you want to get the important dates of Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2014 and exam pattern so here is the information of the same for you:

Important Dates:

Paymen of Application fees at Bank
March 8 to 17, 2014
Last Date of Payment of Application Fees by DD
March 20, 2014 extended till April 1, 2014
Last Date for Submission of KEA Copy of Challan at School/Colleges
April 4, 2014
Date of reaching the Admission Tickets by KEA to all the Applicants
April 21, 2014
Entrance Test
May 1 & 2, 2014
Result Declaration
May 27, 2014 tentatively

Exam Pattern:
KCET Exam Pattern 2014 will be based on four subjects namely Biology, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry pertaining 60 marks each. All these subjects will comprise of the 60 questions each.

Karnataka CET 2014 Application Form Procedure:
Candidates must download the Bank Challan and pay the application fees in any one of the banks - State Bank of Mysore, Indian Bank and Central Bank of India. (From March 8 to 17, 2014)
Candidates may also pay through DD as specified above (till April 1, 2014)
Candidates can avail the application forms from their respective schools / colleges in Karnataka after submitting the KEA copy of the bank challan.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) to get admission for 1st Year in the Professional Education Institutions of Karnataka for following courses:

1.Medical / Dental
2.Ayurveda,Homoeopathy,Unani,Naturopathy and Yoga
3.Engineering / Technology (BE/B.Tech)
4.Architecture (B.Arch)
5.B.Sc
6.Bachelor of Veterinary,Science and Animal Husbandary
7.B.Tech (Food Technology),B.Tech (Dairy Technology),B.F.Sc (Bachelor of Fisheries Science),B.Tech (Food Science and Tech) and B.Sc (Ag.Marketing and C-operation).
8.B.tech (Agriculture Engineering)
9.B.Pharma
10.2nd Year B.Pharma
11.Pharma-D

Eligibility:
The Candidates must have passed in 2nd PUC or 12th Standard Class Pass from the recognised educational institutions located in the state of Karnataka for a minimum period of SEVEN academic years.

Age Limitation:
Minimum 17 years

Important dates:
Commencement of Online Application Form :- 30 Jan 2015

Last Date to Enter Online Application Form – 2 March 2015

Last Date to submit Fees in Bank/Post Office – 4 March 2015

Download Admission Tickets Online on or after – 15 April 2015

Application Fee:-
Rs. 650/- for General and OBC category candidates
Rs. 500/- for others
