Can I do Ph.D in Biotechnology in US after doing MBBS in India?

There are very few colleges that offer PH.D degree after MBBS. A Master’s degree is a must for a doctoral degree like PHD.

The main option is to get admission to a three-year medical postgraduate Programme (MD or MS). Thereafter one can go for medical research leading to Ph.D.

But, there are some universities that offer integrated MBBS + PHD degree. To take direct admission in PHD degree there are some exams that students have to clear and qualify with very good score.

According to my knowledge, The University that offer direct admission in PHD degree after MBBS is
University of Groningen

For direct admission in PHD, you need to have very good marks in MBBS and a bit of working experience also.

You can do PHD some USA universities are offering the PHD Biotechnology degree to MBBS students.

But you want good and more option for PhD in biotechnology, I my opinion you need to complete your master degree. Hence you can get good opportunities.
