Admission Procedure

The applicants who want to apply Patna Science College BCA course are required to apply in the prescribed application form to the Course Co-coordinator, BCA Course, Patna Science College, Patna-800 005.

The application form alon with the Prospectus can be obtained in person from the office during the working hours on payment of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) from the college campus.

The Admission in this college will be made on the basis of marks obtained at the Aptitude Test followed by Viva-Voce conducted by the college.

Criteria for Admission

The candidate must have passed the Intermediate Examination of a Board/University/+2 or equivalent examination in Science with Mathematics as one of the core subjects and secured at least qualifying percentage in aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry.

The qualifying percentage of marks as per the reservation category is as follows

General : 55%
SC/ST/BC-I : 45%
BC-II : 55%

BCA Course has 30 (Thirty) seats only.

Details about the Aptitude Test

The Aptitude Test will be of Multiple Choice consisting of 20 questions each from Physics and Mathematics and 10 questions from fundamentals of computer.

Aptitude Test will be of 100 marks and viva-voce will be of 25 marks.

The Duration of the test will be of 2 hours.

There will be no negative marking for any wrong answers.
