Provide me information regarding the DEIS schools?

DEIS school is the short form of delivering equality of opportunity in schools.
The DIES deals with the disadvantaged that some individuals have to suffer in the field of education due to some reason or the other as compared to other individual.

There are other ways in which children may be disadvantaged, for example as a result of a disability, literacy difficulties, ill health, etc.

The DIES deals with the subject in the following way

- A standardized system for identifying and regularly reviewing levels of disadvantage and

- A new integrated School Support Programme (SSP) to bring together and build upon the previous schemes and programmes.
