I want to tell you that according to me it generally held 2 times in a year

Syllabus of exam of CSIR NET:

The 1st section includes Logical Reasoning, Graphical Analysis & Analytical, Quantitative Comparison, Numerical Ability, Puzzles, and Series Formation Etc; this will be common to all subjects’ areas.

For the candidates of Engineering Sciences, the 2nd section includes Mathematics & Engineering Aptitude topics and section 3 contains multiple type questions from the topics included in the syllabus.

For rest of disciplines’ candidates, 2nd section includes the topics in the syllabus and section 3 includes scientific knowledge concepts.
