Admission:
Candidates will get admission when the candidates will be required to submit the filled-in application form with attested copy of documents as specified in Entrance-cum-Admission Form.

Admission Procedure:
Candidates will be admitted on the basis of CE test entrance exam.

You will be examined in the following subjects: 5 papers x 100 marks each

Paper I: Foundations of Education
Paper II: Educational Psychology
Paper III: Educational Management and Educational Evaluation
Paper IV: Information and Communication Technology in Education & Special Field.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree examination of this University or a corresponding degree examination of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate at the Bachelor’s degree examination and must have offered subjects relating to secondary/Higher Secondary level as per the requirements laid down by the State Government in that regard.

Department of the education in the Mumbai University was founded in year 1974. The B.Ed. course aims at developing the understanding and competencies required by practicing teachers for effective teaching-learning process at the secondary stage.

Duration of the Course: The minimum duration of the programme at MU is Two years.

Eligibility:

Students must have passed a Bachelor’s degree exam with 45% marks

MU B.Ed Entrance Test: Applicants will be selected through CET.

The questions will be objective type, covering
(i) General Mental Ability,
(ii) General Knowledge,
(iii) General English
(iv) Broad aspects of general education and special education.

Selection will be made in the order of merit.

The total marks for the entrance examination will be 100 and the duration of the examination will be of 90 minutes.

Tentative Dates :

The Entrance Test will be held on July, 2015

Admit card will be provided to the students before 10 days of the Entrance Test.
