Following are the details of it: Eligibility: The applicant should have completed Class XII conducted by any recognized Central/State Board, such as CBSE, ISCE. IIST B.Tech Selection Procedure: Candidates must have qualified in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE to appear for the JEE Advanced 2013. They must have secured the minimum prescribed marks category wise in JEE Advanced to be eligible for admissions. The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology is located at Valiamala, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. It was inaugurated on 14 September 2007 by G. Madhavan Nair. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology take admission in B.Tech course on the basis of JEE entrance test. IIST Exam Eligibility- Citizenship Only Indian citizens are eligible. Age criteria Candidate must be born on or after 1 October 1989 (GEN, OBC). For SC, ST and PwD, date has been relaxed to 1984. JEE Eligibility Admissions into IIST will be made on the basis of JEE Advanced. Candidate must score minimum aggregate categorically as per the following: General - 20% marks aggregate and 5% individually in Physics, Chemistry and Math. NCL-OBC - 18% marks aggregate and 4.5% individually in Physics, Chemistry and Math. SC, ST and PwD - 10% marks aggregate and 2.5% individually in Physics, Chemistry and Math. Qualifying Examination (Class XII or Equivalent) Candidate must have cleared qualifying examination in Physics, Math and Chemistry. Minimum aggregate of 70% in PCM in qualifying examination (60% for SC, ST and PwD). List of Qualifying Examinations for IIST Eligibility Criteria Class XII examination recognized Board. Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized Board or University of two year duration. Final exam of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defense Academy. Vocational Higher Secondary Exam. SSC Exam conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
