Can you tell me the eligibility criteria for the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) DySP post????

The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) conducts recruitment examination for the post of DySP. Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is the authoritative body for conducting Maharashtra State Civil Services examination in the state.


You are asking for the eligibility required for the MPSC DySP exam .here I am provide you basic eligibility required for this. This is as follows:

Eligibility:
The applicant should have Degree in Science/Engineering from any recognized institute.

Age:
19-28 years.
Relaxation upto 33 years for BC candidates

Physical requirements:
Height: 165 cms.
Chest: 84 cms. (Unexpanded)

The examination is conducted in following three steps:



i) Preliminary Examination(200 marks)
ii) Main/ Written Examination(800 marks)
iii) Interview/ Personality Test(100 marks)

Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is a Government of Maharashtra organization which is responsible for conducting exams for recruitments to Maharashtra Government departments.

The Post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) comes under Class 1 Posts of Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC).


Eligibility:


Nationality:
One must be the citizen of India and domiciled in the State of Maharashtra.


Age:
The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 33 years. The maximum age is relaxed able for OBC candidates (max. 35yrs.) and SC/ST/NT candidates (max. 38yrs.).


Educational Qualifications:
One should possess a Bachelors Degree from a recognized University; however, one with a law degree may be given preference.
One in the final year of graduation can also appear for the MPSC exam.


No of Attempts:
There is no Limit; one can appear any number of times.


The MPSC State Service Exam Pattern is:
1. Prelims 2 papers 400 marks
2. Mains 6 papers 800 marks
3. Interview 100 marks
