Hi What are all the posts comes under Combined Engineering Services Examination? How much salary for each posts. The Combined Engineering Services Examination is conducted by the UPSC every year generally in the month of June/July for recruitment to the four categories of engineering services: Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering and Electronics & telecommunication Engineering The basic payment details is as follows: Basic pay: 7,000 HArdship allowance: 4,900 Daily allowance 19,00 Total after Dedcuting Tax = 13,000 (approx) Here is the salary detail for different IES posts : Selection Grade: Rs. 15,100-400-18,300 Junior Administrative Grade: Rs. 12,750-375-16,500 Additional Secretary: Rs. 22400-525-24500 Junior Officers: Rs. 8000-275-13500 Senior Officers: Rs. 10650-325-15200 For the information regarding to various posts which comes under Combined Engineering Services Examination here I have uploaded the advertisement here. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission conducted the Combined Engineering Services Examination. Salary for Combined Engineering Services Posts Pay Scale Assistant Electrical Inspector – Rs.15,600- 39,100 + Grade pay Rs.5,400/- p.m. Level – 22 Rs.56,100 – 1,77,500/- p.m. Assistant Engineer, Assistant Director & Junior Architect – Rs. Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade pay Rs.5100/- p.m. Level – 20 Rs.37,700 – 1,19,500/- p.m TNPSC CESE Selection Process: Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e., (i) Written Examination and (ii) Oral Test in the shape of an interview. Final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the Applicants at the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments The questions in Paper-I for Electrical Engineering & Electronics and Communication Engineering will be set in English only. The questions in Paper-I for Civil Engineering will be set in both Tamil and English. The questions in Paper-II (General Studies) will be set both in Tamil and English.
