Can you give me information about required Eligibility And Qualification For The Post Of Tehsildar in India??

A Tahsildaar is a government official holds all responsibilities related to revenue side of a Mandal having fixed number of villages under its geographical area. A Tahsildaar will be treated as a Gazetted officer and has the power to issue various certificates like caste, income and nativity of all individuals residing in villages of the Mandal.

The exam of Tahildaar is conducted by Tamilnadu Public Service Commission (TPSC).

Eligibility:

The educational qualification for the post of Tahsildaar is
Essential - A post graduate degree in any subject completed in a recognized university or its equivalent courses like engineering.

Desirable - A degree in Law completed in government approved university.

Age Limit : 18 to 38 years.
Gender : Male and Female.

Selection Procedure:

Tamilnadu Public Service Commission had announced for the requirement of Tahsildaar. By applying for the TNPCS GROUP-2 examination with your details attached in the application you will be notified as a shortlisted candidate if your application is approved. The date and the center to write the exam will announce.

Paper pattern

The written exam consists of two paper.

Paper - 1: 150 questions containing General English, science, mathematics and reasoning questions

paper- 2 : 150 questions containing about Indian constitution,
politics, history of India and current affairs.

The duration of exam is two hours.

Education Qualification:-
You have to passed a degree in LAW stream from any recognized university ..and you must have 2 years working experience in revenue and land acquisition.
You must have working knowledge of English, Telugu & Hindi.

AGE LIMIT :-
Minimum age : 18 years of age
Maximum age : not more than 25 years as on year of applying

Salary Structure :-
Pay Scale will be Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- per month.

Selection process :
The selection process will be based on the written test and interview process..

To become a Tasildar, one must obtain a good score in the public service commission exam (TNPCS EXAM) equivalent courses like engineering

Desirable - A degree in Law completed in goverment approved university.

Age Limit : 18 to 38 years.
Gender : Male and Female.
