TCS Placement - Personal Interview
Personal Interview round of TCS consists of three rounds i.e. Technical Round + Managerial Round + H. R. Round.

1. Technical Round:
In technical round you will be asked conceptual questions related to CSE/IT branch. Prepare for important CSE/IT subjects like Data Structure, DBMS, C/C++, JAVA, Operating Systems, and Software Engineering etc.

Some Questions for Example:
1. What is your strongest programming language (Java, ASP, C, C++, VB, HTML, C#, etc.)?
2. Differences between C and Java?
3. In header files whether functions are declared or defined?
4. What are the different storage classes in C ?
5. What does static variable mean?
6. How do you print an address ?
7. What are macros? what are its advantages and disadvantages?
8. Difference between pass by reference and pass by value?
9. What is an object?
10. What is a class?
11. What is the difference between class and structure?
12. What is pointer?
13. What is the difference between null and void pointer?
14. what is function overloading
15. What is function overloading and operator overloading?
16. what is friend function?
17. What do you mean by inline function?
18. Tell me something about abstract classes?
19. What is the difference between realloc() and free()?
20. What is the difference between an array and a list?
21. What are the differences between structures and arrays?
22. What is data structure?
23. Can you list out the areas in which data structures are applied extensively?

2. Managerial Round:
In managerial round they will check you managerial skill. So you have to try to give diplomatic answer.

Some Questions for Example:
1. Suppose you have urgent work in office that needs to be completed until tomorrow and someone in your family is sick which needs you immediately then what will you do? Work or Family?

2. Suppose you get a project and you do not know something. Your seniors are very cruel as well as your boss is annoyed with you. Then what will you do? You will keep toiling on your own or will you ask your cruel seniors or boss?


3. HR Round:
In this round they can ask you questions related to your family and other non-technical stuffs. They check your communication skills and presence of mind. Before interview grab information about TCS like C.E.O., M. D., and Founder etc.
