As you want to get the syllabus for the post of junior engineer in Indian Railways so here is the information of the same for you:

Syllabus for the post of junior engineer in Indian Railways
1) Written Exam:
The Written Exam is an Objective test of 500 Marks and Comprises of Two Papers (viz Paper-1 and Paper-2)

(A) Paper-1:
Paper-1 is an Objective test of 2 Hours with Total weightage of 200 Marks and consists of following sections
General Intelligence & Reasoning : 50 Marks
General Awareness : 50 Marks
General Engineering: 100 marks

(B) Paper-2:
The Paper 2 is a Conventional and Subject Specific paper, where candidate have to attempt Questions only on the Specific Trade Like Mechanical, Civil and Electrical.

This Paper is of 2 hour Duration and carries 300 marks.

2) Interview:
Successful students in the Written Exam, will then be called for the Interview. The Interview carries a total weightage of 100 Marks.

As you want I am here providing you syllabus of the Junior Engineering Indian Railways .

RRB Junior Engineer (JE) Exam Pattern:-

The question paper consists of a total of 150 marks with two sections.

First section carries questions from :
English Language,
Reasoning,
Arithmetic
General Knowledge (GK).

Second section will be common for all posts with 90 MCQ type questions of Technical Knowledge and General Science questions.

RRB Junior Engineer (JE) Exam Syllabus:-

RRB Junior Engineer Exam Syllabus :

English Language - Comprehension, Sentence correction, Grammatical mistakes detection, Vocabulary, Word powers etc.

Arithmetic- Basic Mathematics & Geometry questions of High school level.

Reasoning Ability- Alphabetic and Numerical Analogy, Non-verbal reasoning, Problem solving, Decision Making, Picture Analogy etc.

General Knowledge- History, Geography, economics of India & World, Environmental Science, Current events, Sports etc.


Eligibility for the exam:
Age Limit :
Candidates age must have between 18-33 years
(Age relaxations as per Govt. rules)

Qualification :
Candidates must have passed in the Diploma/ B.Tech from any recognized university/ college.
