The Maharashtra Public Service Commission exam details are below: For applying MPSC the candidates can go with either online mode or offline mode. If candidate is interested in the former mode, then he/she has to download the application form from the official website. Online application includes two stages: A) Registration 1 B) Registration 2. In offline mode, Students can get the application form any of the specified post offices through the country. The cost of the application form in offline mode is Rs.100. Next, students have to fill the form, complete and send it to the mentioned address before the last date. Exam Dates MPSC State Services Preliminary Exam 2014:- Apply online from 17/12/2013 to 07/01/2014 Preliminary Exam Date: 2nd February 2014 MPSC Education Officer Gr-B Exam: 5th January 2014 Syllabus The Syllabus for Preliminary Exam: The preliminary exam consists of four papers General Knowledge, General English, General Marathi and General Studies After passing the preliminary exam, candidates will be qualified for Main exam. In main exam, there will be 6 papers; 2 languages papers (English & Marathi) and four papers in General Studies. The four papers are given below: •History & Geography (with reference to Maharashtra) •Indian Constitution & Politics •Human Resource Developments and Human Rights •Economy & Planning, Economics of Development & Agriculture and Science & Technology Development

Age limit: Minimum age 19 years, Maximum age 33 years Maximum age relaxable OBC candidates (Max. 35yrs) SC/ST/NT candidates (Max. 38yrs) Attempts at the exam: No Limit Stages of MPSC State Services (Rajyaseva) Exam: Prelims: Objective Type Paper – General Studies – 200 marks (0.25 negative marking) 2 Hours duration Main Exam: Long Answer type papers: 1. English paper – 100 Marks 2. Marathi paper – 100 marks Objective Type Questions: 1. General Studies paper I- 150 marks, 2 Hours duration 2. General Studies paper II – 150 marks, 2 Hours duration 3.
