Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Development Institute (MSME-DI) at the Cuttack, is under the Ministry of Micro, Small &Medium Enterprises(MSME) Govt of India is the central office for promotion of MSMEs in the State of Odisha

This office is having its two branch offices that are located at Rourkela & Rayagada of the state.

This office provides the loans under the following categories –

Manufacturing enterprise-

Micro enterprises – investment upto Rs.25 lakhs .

Small enterprises – investment above Rs.25 Lakhs and upto Rs.5 Crores .

Medium Enterprises- investment above Rs.5 Crores and upto Rs.10 Crores .

For service enterprises –

Micro enterprises – Investment upto Rs.10 lakhs .

Small enterprises – Investment above Rs.10 lakhs upto Rs.2 Crores .

Medium Enterprises- Investment above Rs.2 Crores and upto Rs.5 Crores.

The institute has made significant contributions for promotion and development of micro, small and medium enterprises in Jharkhand.

Manufacturing enterprise have been defined in terms of investment in plant and machinery excluding land and building and classified into:

Micro enterprises – investment upto Rs.25 lakhs
