National Council of Rural Institutes was established by the Government of India in 1995. it works as a catalyst organisation, helping rural institutions, Gandhian organisations, NGOs, universities and state government agencies in various projects connected with the promotion of rural higher education.

Projects guidelines:
The proposed project should:
Be in conformity with NCRI objectives
Should invariably be centred on education
Be strictly rural-based and result-oriented.
Be area-specific
Not be duplications of other government or non-government schemes
Be presented in clear terms

National Council of Rural Institutes was founded in 1995. The main aim of National Council of Rural Institutes is to enhance the rural India using education as an instrument of social advancement.

“Setting up of Machla Nai Talim Senior Secondary School”
“Centre for Silk weaving, designing, training and production at Muri, Ranchi”
