SET Entrance Examination

I want to apply for the SLIET Entrance Test(SET). and here I am finding the fee of the entrance exam. Can you please provide it to me? And also give me the important dates for the entrance exam.

SLIET (SANT LONGOWAL Institute of Engineering & Technology) conducts an entrance exam for giving admissions to its various Certificate, Diploma, Degree, Post-Graduate M.Tech. / M.Sc. / MBA and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs.
This year the all India SLIET entrance test was held on 2nd & 3rd June 2012.
So you have to try next year.

Application Fee:
Direct Entry (Online Submission)
General & Other Categories: ` 1000/-
SC / ST : ` 500/-
Direct Entry (Offline Application)
General & Other Categories: ` 1100/-
SC / ST : ` 600/-

The Information Brochure / Application Form for SET-2012 will be available from
5th March, 2012.
Last date for receipt of Application Form for both ONLINE & OFFLINE:
30th April, 2012.

SET is an entrance exam which is organized by the Symbiosis Institute of Technology to impart admission to the eligible candidates for various courses in engineering in the University.

Eligibility criteria:-
If you wish to apply for B.Tech then you must have passed 10+2 from a recognized university in the country.

You must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths with a minimum aggregate score of 60% (for SC/St candidates, minimum marks is 55%).

SET 2014 Selection Procedure:-
You will be allocated seat in the university on the basis of one of the below given criteria:


The rank obtained by the candidate in the SET 2014

The rank obtained by the candidate in JEE (Main) 2014

The rank obtained by the candidate in MT CET 2014

Application fees is 1500/- Rs.
