Eligibility:
-You should have passed the qualifying Diploma examination in Engineering / Technology in the relevant branch of specialisation conducted by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or Other State or any other equivalent examination recognised by Anna University.

-Candidates who have passed the diploma examination in the relevant branch of specialisation at least two years
- You should be working in a place within a distance of 90 km from the college

Selection Procedure:
-The merit list will be prepared based on the total marks of 100 (Marks obtained in the qualifying marks will be reduced to 75 marks and marks for work experience will be a maximum of 25 marks).
-In cases where more than one candidate have got the same marks in the common merit list, inter-se merit shall be determined in the order of priority as given below –

Total years of experience
Total marks obtained in the Qualifying Diploma Examination.
Date of Birth (senior will be placed above).

The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions TNEA is conducted by Anna University for admission of candidates to various Engineering colleges in the State.

Application Form-

Candidates can apply for TNEA Exam 2016 through online as well as offline mode.

For online mode, candidates can directly get the application form from the official website of Anna University.

Otherwise, they can get the application form from official centres of Anna University by hand.

Applicants are also eligible to get application from by post.

The application process of TNEA Exam 2016 will start in the month of May 2016 so yet the application form of it is not avaible.

Tentative Dates

TNEA 2016 official notification will be released on: First week of May 2016
Availability of TNEA 2016 application forms begin: First week of May 2016
Last date of Submit the application form: End of the May 2016
TNEA 2016 examination will be held: June 2016

Application Fee

For online mode, the application fee is Rs.500/- for general candidates and Rs.250/- for OBC/SC/ST and other scheduled aspirants.

For offline mode, the application fee is Rs. 700/- for general category candidates and Rs. 450/- for OBC/SC/ST and other scheduled aspirants.
