Kurukshetra University Eligibility

What is the eligibility for entrance exam for MCA from Kurukshetra University? I am planning to appear for KU MCA entrance exam of 2012. If I am giving the 10+2 exam and results are awaited then am I eligible to sit for this entrance exam.

Hi i am giveing you some lines from the prospectus for admission to MCA in Kurukshetra University

Eligibility for doing MCA for Kurukshetra University (Part 1)
Pass in Bachelor's degree examination of Kurukshetra University or any other recognised
University.

IMPORTANT NOTE: ADMISSION TO M.B.A. PART-I/M.B.A. (HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT)
PART-I/M.C.A. PART-I WOULD BE MADE THROUGH A COMMON ENTRANCE
TEST TO BE CONDUCTED BY THE DIRECTORATE AT KURUKSHETRA OR ON
ANY OTHER CENTRE CREATED BY THE UNIVERSITY ON 13.11.2011. THE
COMMON ENTRANCE TEST WILL BE OF MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS OF 50
MARKS HAVING GENERAL ENGLISH, NUMERICAL ABILITY/MATHEMATICAL ABILITY,
REASONING AND GENERAL AWARENESS. THE CANDIDATES DESIROUS TO
SEEK ADMISSION IN MCA PROGRAMME WILL HAVE TO ATTEMPT THE
QUESTIONS FROM MATHEMATICAL ABILITY. THERE WILL BE 50 QUESTIONS IN
THE COMMON ENTRANCE TEST WITH NO NEGATIVE MARKING FOR WRONG
ANSWERS. DURATION OF THE ENTRANCE TEST WILL BE ONE HOUR.

HOWEVER, THE CANDIDATES WHO HAVE SUCCESSFULLY CLEARED THE
ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSION INTO MANAGEMENT/COMPUTER
PROGRAMMES CONDUCTED BY INSTITUTIONS LIKE CAT/MAT/STATE LEVEL
TESTS ETC. ARE EXEMPTED FROM APPEARING IN THE COMMON
ENTRANCE TEST.

MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS (M.C.A.)
Part-II
Pass in MCA Part-I provided that a candidate who has got reappear in not more than 50% papers of MCA Part-I examination of Kurukshetra University shall also be eligible for provisional admission to MCA Part-II class subject to passing the remaining paper(s) of Part-I in the permissible number of chances.

For applying for the Kurukshetra University MCA entrance exam, you must pass a Common Entrance Test to be conducted in the month of November. If you have already passed Entrance Test for admission to Management/Computer Programmes such as CAT/ MAT/ State Level Tests etc then you don’t need to sit in the Common Entrance Test.

Sir,
i have passed 10+2 with 79.6% marks on commerce stream. And i have passed bca with 60% marks.Can i have eligible for entrance test for MCA.
