I want to take admission in Delhi University for Ph.D .Can you please provide the eligibility criteria?

The University of Delhi is a public central university located in Delhi, India. It was e stablished in 1922, it offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.It is affiliated to the UGC, NAAC, AIU.

The Dept of Business Economics offers Ph.D in Business Economics in Delhi University.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have Master’s degree from the University of Delhi or any other recognized university in MBE/MBA/Economics/Environmental Studies/Commerce with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grading or M.Phil with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grading

Selection Procedure:
All applicants are required to appear for an entrance examination followed by interview.

Tentative Dates:
Last date for submission of application: last week of April, 2014
Date of written exam and interview: first week of May, 2014
Result to be declared: second week of May, 2014
Last date of payment of fees: third week of July, 2014
Commencement of classes: last week of July, 2014
