GPA is the grade performance average; this is needed to get admission to various colleges and universities. Most colleges has set the deadline of 3.0 average of the GPA for the admission but they also admit students below this score providing students fulfill certain criteria. The average GPA for some colleges are- Bucknell University 3.49 Carnegie Mellon University 3.64 Colgate University 3.72 Johns Hopkins University 3.68 New York University 3.6 Reed College 3.8 University of Pennsylvania 3.86 University of Southern California 3.8 Vanderbilt University 3.7
