Oak ridge school is the oak ridge city of the Tennessee.

The story of Oak Ridge City Schools began in July, 1943, not in Oak Ridge, but in New York City when the United States Army interviewed Mr. A. H. Blankenship at Columbia College to be the first leader of Oak Ridge Schools.

Oak Ridge City Schools are comprised of a preschool serving 222 students (ages 3-4), four elementary schools serving 1,726 students, two middle schools serving 1,395 students, and one high school serving 1,400 students.

The upcoming events of the school are-

Board meeting at 24 February 2014.

Spring break – 17 to 21 march 2014.

Good Friday holiday -April 18.
