what is the meaning of G1 G2 G3 G4 in CCMT counselling

Centralized Counselling (CCMT) for M.Tech/ M.Arch/ M.Plan will carry the admission process for the programs offered by NITs, IIITs. GFTIs and CFTIs.

NIT Delhi is responsible for conducting CCMT Counselling this year.

CCMT Counselling:

Group–I (G1): Registered candidates who did not get any seat allotment in Round 1.

Group-II (G2): Registered candidates who were allotted seats in Round 1 and reported at the RC, but their allotted seats were cancelled due to non-fulfillment of eligibility criteria.

Group–III (G3): Registered candidates, who were allotted seats in Round 1, reported at the RC and specified the ‘willingness’ for the subsequent rounds of counseling.

Group–IV (G4): Candidates, who were allotted seats in Round 1, reported at the RC and specified willingness as Freezing. Their allotted seat will be retained in the same category or moved to the up-graded category.
