Age Limit for IAS Entrance

I am interested in go to Indian Civil Service so I want to take part in IAS exam so can you tell me what is minimum and maximum age limit require?

The candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination. The candidate age must be between 21 to 30 on the 1st August 2012.

IAS Exam is a test conducted by the Union Public Services Commission to recruit eligible candidates to All India Services which includes IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS, and many other Group A and Group B services.

Age Limit for IAS Entrance


Candidate must be more than 21 years of age and the upper age limit is 32 years for general candidates.

IAS Exam Pattern consists of three stages namely IAS Prelims followed by IAS Main exam and Interview round.
