To prepare for the Common entrance examination for design you should polish up your drawing and rendering skills. You need to sharpen your power of observation and practice sketching and shading. Try to observe very closely such images in magazines like Inside Outside or on construction sites to be able to reproduce the drawing on paper as accurately as possible Try to solve sample and previous year question paper. Here I am giving a sample paper: Show in various creative ways the alphabet “a” changing into an apple. (There is square which has 5 rows and 5 columns. The 1st column has the alphabet “a”, 2nd, 3rd and 4th column is blank, the 5th column has an apple.) a) Design a poster announcing the CEED 2020 examination. OR b) A comic strip keeping the water kingdom details in mind. Do a picture sketch, writing a conversation between two elderly women (character sketch is important). 150 words Think of yourself as a blind man and design a thought process in his mind, while he would cross the road from point x to the other end. (There is busy street with a bus stop and shops on the other side)

It will test you on many things from General Aptitude, GK, Analytical ability. Famous architectures around the world- Bridges, buildings etc. In CEED-2013 I got a few questions on mechanical pulleys (physics)! So there will always be surprises. The 2 most time consuming things in the entire paper Syllabus : According to an analysis of the past year papers, and coaching institutes, broadly the CEED Syllabus can be defined as follows.
