SSC - Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer Examination details are given below:
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or diploma in any one of the following engineering disciplines from a recognized university .
Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Age should not be less than 18 years and more than 27 years to apply for this exam and relaxation in upper age which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

Electrical Engineering Syllabus:
Basic concepts, Circuit law, Magnetic Circuit, AC Fundamentals, Measurement and Measuring instruments, Electrical Machines, Fractional Kilowatt Motors and single phase induction Motors,Synchronous Machines, Generation, Transmission and Distribution, Estimation and Costing,Utilization and Electrical Energy, Basic Electronics.

Examination Pattern:
Paper I - Objective type test and will be following three sections
General Intelligence and Reasoning - 50 marks
General Awareness - 50 marks
Your selected engineering branch paper - 100 marks

Paper II - Conventional Type –
There will be only single section
General Engineering - Civil Structural or Electrical or Mechanical - 300 marks

If you qualify this examination then you will be called for the interview process which contains 100 marks.
