Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance examination conducted on rotation by the fourteen National Law Universities (NLU)

Age eligibility
- Age should not be more than 20 years in case of General Candidates and 22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with disability as on 1st July of the year of examination

Other Eligibility

Under-Graduate Programmes --
-You should have passed 10+2 Examination or equivalent with not less than 45% marks for General and 40% marks for SC/ST and Persons with Disability

Post-graduate Programme
You should have passed the LL.B/B.L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognized University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability).

Tentative dates
Publication of advertisement 1st week of January
Issue of application forms 2nd week of January
Last date for submission of application forms 1st week of April
Issue of Hall Tickets 2nd week of April
Date of admission test for UG/PG 2nd week of May
Publication of result Last week of May
Completion of admission process Last week of June
Commencement of classes 1st week of July
