Will you please tell me how to make good career after completion of MCA if I don’t have much knowledge of Programming?? After completion of MCA, you will be considered as a computer professional so in order to get good job you must have knowledge of programming languages. Don’t worry, you still have chance, You can join any institute and learn at least 3 or 4 basic and useful languages like-c/c++/.net/oracle/visual basic. After doing MCA can go for following Short term courses C C++ .NET Oracle J2EE. J2ME. JAVA. NETWORKING. Visual DBMS. If you still feel difficulty in learning programming language, you can start your career in government sector by appearing in Govt. Yes you can do MCA course even if you don’t have any knowledge about programming. Of-course you have to do some extra short term courses to become specializes in your filed. Requirements of MCA Course If you want to become a programmer / developer then C, C++ and JAVA are the basic languages u should know. You should have specialization in some language of your interest. If you have certification in like SUN JAVA or .NET certifications then it will be beneficial for you. You can also go for CISCO certifications like CCNA, CCNP etc or Microsoft Certification like MCSD, MCSE etc. If you are good in databases, you can also go for ORACLE certification After doing MCA you must do Short term courses 1.
