Grade Point Average (GPA) is a measure of how well students are doing in its academic studies. Each letter grade is assigned a point value which is called the Grade Point. GPA is an average of the grade points of the courses you have taken and it is a function of the number of credits each course carries. The GPA helps - -Prospective employers interpret your result -Tertiary providers compare your results with those of other students GPA or grade point average is important to admissions committees because it is a long-term indicator for the students performance.
