Banaras Hindu University B.Sc Nursing admission is based in entrance test conducted by BHU.

Entrance exam pattern:

The question paper of the written Entrance Test will have 100 'Multiple Choice Questions' (each carrying 4 marks from Physics, Chemistry.
Botany & Zoology (25 questions each) having maximum marks 400 with time duration of 2 hours.
There will be “NO” negative marking for incorrect answers.
6.2. Minimum qualifying marks in written entrance examination:
The minimum percentage of marks to qualify the written examination shall be will be 50% for General category and 40% for OBC (non-creamy layer)/SC/ST

Proof for Date of Birth (High School Certificate)

High school Mark sheet & certificate
(10+2)/ Intermediate Mark sheet & certificate

Certificate for OBC non-creamy layer (income proof of last three years)

Banaras Hindu University is a public central university situated in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It was founded in 1916 by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya and this institute is organized into 4 institutes and 14 faculties.

BHU B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Test:

BHU B.Sc Nursing Entrance Test Dates:
Entrance Test is held generally in 3rd week of May.

Number of Seats:
1. B.Sc. Nursing Course is offered in the College of Nursing, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi
Total seats: 60 seats
15% (9 seats) are reserved for Scheduled Caste
7.5% (5 seats) are reserved for the Scheduled Tribes
27% (16 seats) are reserved for the OBC candidates
50.5% (30 Seats) are for the General Category


Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality:
Candidate should be an Indian National.

Educational Qualifications:
Candidate should passed 10+2 or equivalent with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry. Biology) and English from a recognized Board with minimum of 50% aggregate marks for the General/OBC Category (40% in case of SC/ST category).

Age Limit:
Candidates should be 17 to 25 years of age on 31st December of the year of examination.

Application Forms:
Application form can be obtained from the Office of the Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, B.H.U Varanasi-221005 by post from Mid-January to Mid March

Application form can get by sending a self addressed unstamped envelope (24 X 30 cm) and a DD of Rs.650.00 (Rs.550.00 for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of “Director, IMS, BHU” payable at Varanasi.

BHU B.Sc Nursing Entrance Test Syllabus:
Entrance Test consists of questions from Physics, Chemistry. Botany & Zoology subjects of +2 level.

25 question each from Physics, Chemistry. Botany & Zoology

Time duration: 2 hours
